Position as leading business school confirmed

Today Financial Times published the list of the top 55 business schools in Europe – and CBS is no. 27.

Ranking is based on performance within a wide variety of areas, including the quality of education in general and for Executive MBAs, included is also evaluation of the quality of research taking place.

From 37th to no. 27th

“Compared to last year’s ranking, CBS has moved from 37th to 27th and is on the list as one of the leading business schools in Scandinavia, only surpassed by Stockholm School of Economics.

I am very pleased to see that our internationalisation strategy is working out and that CBS has now confirmed its position as leading in Scandinavia”, Dean Finn Junge-Jensen says.

This ranking consists of a collective ranking of the following degrees: MBA 2006, EMBA 2006, European Masters in Management 2006 and Executive Education 2006.

Some of the criteria for the ranking of CBS has been: salary level, raise achieved after finished education, career, international mobility, teachers’ qualifications, percentage of doctorates, international profile, amount and quality of publications.
