80 Rectors from Europe visit CBS

September 29th – Oct. 1st 80 Rectors from all over Europe will be visiting CBS to participate in a seminar on evaluating universities. All of them are members of European University Association (EUA) and work as international evaluators of universities in Europe.

CBS was evaluated by EUA in the late 90’ies. Because rectors with great insight into the state of universities do the evaluation, the recommendations they make are very useful, Finn Junge-Jensen says. He also says he gets inspiration for CBS whenever he is out evaluating other universities.

Former rector of RUC (RoskildeUniversityCenter) Henrik Toft is head of the EUA evaluation program, which is the only program to evaluate the universities as a whole.

Next year more than 40 universities in 15 countries will be evaluated.
