CBS Executive: Focus on international recognition of quality


New Director of International Marketing and Corporate Communications Joins CBS Executive


CBS Executive of Copenhagen Business School has appointed Connie Tai as Director of International Marketing and Corporate Communications. Tai, currently Director of Marketing and Communications at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) in the Netherlands, will take up the post in January 2005. This is the third major appointment at CBS Executive in this year. This follows the appointment of Prof. Christer Karlsson as Dean of CBS Executive in April 2004 and the promotion of Anne Mette Dissing-Immerkaer to Director of CBS Executive in September 2004.

This new position has been created to support the strategic objectives of CBS Executive to further international recognition of the quality of its executive program offerings, expansion of program portfolio as well as increasing collaboration with companies to serve their management development needs."

Tai will have overall responsibility for leading the international marketing and positioning of CBS Executive, which provides all masters' level executive programs at Copenhagen Business School. She is tasked to manage branding, reputation management and international media relations. Furthermore, Tai will lead the global marketing of the full-time MBA and support corporate partnering efforts of CBS Executive.

Tai earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Hong Kong and her MBA from Erasmus University in the Netherlands. She is currently enrolled in a master's programme in Corporate Communications and Reputation Management in the UK. She has been an active contributor in the business education industry including active engagement with the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) as well as the Association of MBAs. She is also a frequent speaker at public events and has spoken at conferences held by the Association of MBAs, Women's International Network, GMAC and the EFMD.
