“Innovation and creativity are versatile business skills that add immense value to a graduate’s toolbox,” says Andreas Rasche, Associate Dean for the Copenhagen MBA.

Using data and results from the latest Best Business Schools survey, Bloomberg Businessweek has been running an initiative aimed at increasing their coverage of business school achievements. In September 2019, they published their findings under the umbrella ‘Alumni Insights’, revealing that Copenhagen Full-time MBA graduates (2010-12) rank their experience highly when it comes to the programme’s ability to teach innovation and creativity. Globally, the Copenhagen MBA ranks #12 in this area.

“Innovation and creativity are versatile business skills that add immense value to a graduate’s toolbox,” says Andreas Rasche, Associate Dean for the programme and CBS Professor. “It allows a person to think on their feet, come at a problem or challenge from different angles and eventually think up new, perhaps out-of-the-box solutions. Furthermore, the Copenhagen MBA ranked very well when it comes to encouraging entrepreneurship. A third of the three graduating classes surveyed started their own business after completing the MBA. The results put the Copenhagen MBA on place #6 globally, a rank shared with Cass and Saïd Business School.

“Many of our graduates stay on post-MBA, and Denmark offers a very encouraging entrepreneurial environment,” says Claire Hewitson, Head of MBA Career Services. “Business tax is relatively low, there are low barriers when it comes to accessing executives and startups can tap into to a flexible and educated workforce.”

As of 2020, the Copenhagen MBA offers a Concentration in Entrepreneurship, adding further value for MBAs wanting to explore the path less trodden.
