QS Top MBA, the leading global provider of specialist higher education and careers information and solutions, released this week the 2013-14 Global 200 Business Schools Report. This annual report differs from traditional rankings as the objective is to provide an indication of the employability of an MBA upon graduation. Rankings are determined solely by employers’ views and perceptions of MBA programmes, taking into account course content, quality of students and the reputation of the school. Based on information from over 4,318 employers who actively recruit MBA graduates, a list of the top 200 business schools is compiled.
Copenhagen Business School is included in the “Elite Global Category”, which is comprised of just 33 MBA programmes around the world. “Elite Global business schools form an established cadre of the world’s very best business institutions. They are targeted by a wide range of employers, both domestically, regionally and globally…Their name will transform the resume of any candidate.” (p.22, 2013-14 Global 200 Business Schools Report)

Rankings are determined by an annual survey of HR and recruiting managers from a variety of industries from around the globe. Surveyed companies include the likes of AIG Investments, American Express, Adidas, Coca-Cola, and Deloitte Consulting, to name a few.
In another report from QS Top MBA on Jobs & Salary Trends, Denmark is consistently ranking high with MBA compensations (salaries and bonus) among responding employers, averaging US$121,400 in 2013, the 2nd highest in Western Europe.
