Dr. Ebru Kuzgun Received the Very Prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the European Commission

ekIt is with great pleasure that I announce that Dr. Ebru Kuzgun is to join the Department of Marketing at Copenhagen Business School as a post-doc. This is made possible from the very prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Post-Doctoral Fellowship that she received from the European Commission.

Ebru received her M.Sc. degree in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School in 2012 and her Ph.D. degree in Marketing at Boğaziçi University (Istanbul) in 2020.

Ebru's primary research interests are service marketing, service robots, and AI-consumer interactions. As a post-doc researcher in the Department of Marketing, she will investigate customer-care avatars used in chatbot communications. Avatars are virtual humanlike characters with anthropomorphic appearances, adopted by companies to provide humanness to AI-managed chatbot communications. In this realm, Ebru will conduct research to analyze the effects of various physical and behavioral dimensions of avatars on consumer responses. In the project, she will collaborate with our department colleague Antonia Erz who is an associate professor of marketing.

Welcome, Ebru, we look forward to working with you.
