Digital services are becoming an important means for manufacturers to create more value for customers by reducing the risk of downtime and improving performance of customers operations. While such ‘servitization’ has great potential, the transformation towards service-based business models is a challenge requiring both leadership and strong capabilities.

In his presentation, Thomas Frandsen will share key learnings from the CBS research project Driving Competitiveness through Servitization and provide an overview of the recently launched national programme Servitize.dk with CBS as a key research partner, which are both funded by the Danish Industry Foundation aiming to improve the competitiveness of Danish Industry.
