Academic Books
CBS alumni get a 12 % discount on all books and a 5 % discount on all e-books at academicbooks.dk (based on their retail prices). If a book is offered at a student rate that is lower than the price you would be able to get with the alumni discount, you will always get the book at the cheapest rate.
Academic Books offers shipment of your order for a reduced fee of DKK 20,-. Orders can also be picked up in Academic Books’ stores.
How to order
To get the discount you must create a user profile and type a discount code in the field “Business Code” (Virksomhedskode). If you have not received a discount code, you can contact us and mention your full name, date of birth, and your CBS username (if you remember it), and we will help you.
The alumni team is understaffed at the moment. As a result, we will verify your alumni status and respond to emails two times a year. We will reply to your email in 2021.
The Economist
You can save more than 20 % off the regular subscription rate for The Economist. You will also receive a copy of Intelligent Life, Economist’s magazine, which is published every second month.
Subscriptions (12 weeks or 1 year) are available either entirely in print, entirely digitally, or as a combined package with both print and digital editions.
Remember to type “CBS alumni” in the “place of study/teaching” box when placing your order. Also remember to let them know what you studied.

Alumni get 25 % discount on business handbooks from Forlaget Andersen.
The business handbooks are in Danish and treat subjects that are relevant for day-to-day management and expertise in private companies, organisations, and institutions. The articles have been written by experienced practitioners and scientists.
