Batman Saves the Congo: How Celebrities Disrupt the Politics of Development

At this event, Lisa Ann Richey, Professor of Globalization at CBS@BrandAid_World, and Alexandra Cosima Budabin, Senior Researcher in the Human Rights Center of the University of Dayton, will launch their latest book Batman Saves the Congo.

 

 

Scholars from collaborating universities— the University of Copenhagen, Roskilde University, University of Dar es Salaam, University of Dayton—as well as the MSC home team + leader will be joining this event.

 

 

The event is  co-hosted by the Centre for Business and Development Studies (CBDS), the Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC) and the research project Commodifying Compassion (CoCo).
