The PhD dissertation examines the supermarket as a modern everyday phenomenon, where the ordinary, routinized and taken for granted rules in particular, and it seeks out a sociological qualified answer as to how the physical layout and exterior architecture of the supermarket frames, influences and changes consumer experience and behaviour
