Delhi-Copenhagen Urban Challenge vol. 2 (DCUC)

Abstract:

Delhi-Copenhagen Urban Challenge (DCUC) is a cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural summer school initiated by CIEL and Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in collaboration with Institute of Management Technology (IMT) in India. This year the Delhi-Copenhagen Urban Challenge summer school revolved around the theme transportation, mobility and urban space with the aim of investigating the outcomes and impacts of big data and smarter cities. Students worked together in study groups across cultural and disciplinary backgrounds during the four weeks of exchange in Copenhagen and Delhi. The four weeks were dedicated for students to active participate in lectures and company visits as well as fieldwork and analysis of data. By the end of each programme in Copenhagen and in Delhi students presented their preliminary project ideas, outcomes and insights to IBM Denmark and IBM India.
