What is the impact of the largest Danish companies? In connection with CBS’ 100th anniversary, we have teamed up with five of them: Novo Nordisk, Danske Bank, Arla Foods, Maersk Group and Velux, launching an exploratory study to find out. Though very different, the five companies have all had an extraordinary influence on Danish society and the global markets, in which they operate. The project entails a preliminary study of the companies’ economic, social and environmental impact and will consider how they have come to reflect on and engage with this impact in recent years.

In connection with the project CBS will host five “Impact Days”, inviting the five company CEOs to give their perspective on the present and future role of their company. CBS Impact Days will culminate with a grand finale, CBS Impact Summit, in November 2017, where the CEOs will interact and debate with not only each other, but also with key persons representing culture, politics and the environment.

With these talks, CBS Impact Days wishes to create debate and dialogue with the companies and CEOs, and create network and new knowledge in collaboration between CBS’s researchers and students as well as the companies and politicians. More information will be made available within the coming weeks here http://www.cbs.dk/en/research/cbs-research-projects/major-research-projects/cbs-impact-days
