Patient Innovation Bootcamp: Boosting Patient Entrepreneurship (PatientEntrepreneur)

Abstract:

Patients and informal caregivers live their daily routines coping with needs imposed by a health condition or disorder. Sometime these patients/caregivers come forward with very innovative devices and therapies to help them cope with their health conditions and improve their own lives and the lives of others in the same condition. In some cases, these innovators would like to bring their innovations to the market, so Patient Entrepreneur is an accelerating program for patients and caregivers to implement and scale up the innovative solutions they developed for themselves. The bootcamp will be delivered in Lisbon, Barcelona and Copenhagen with the overall goal of boasting patient entrepreneurship. The bootcamp partners include Copenhagen Business School, University of Copenhagen, IESE Business School, Patient Innovation, Biocat, Smile, Glintt and Walk with Path.
