itGrows - Module-based IT platform for optimizing horticultural production (itGrows)

Abstract:

A new innovative climate control and management system for global gartner industries must be created (itGrows). itGrows aims at the special need of hi-tech gartners. The system will secure the newest technology for the industry, and bring together and develop existing systems. Today's standard is typically a computer with multiple IKT systems for controlling energy, climate, and for decision making support, communicating with a growing amount of sensors and actuators. The systems are typically from several suppliers and are often unable to communicate with each other. The idea of the project is to develop a unique system , comprising both biologic and economic aspects af plant production. itGrows secures innovative hardware, business intelligence, webbased knowledge shareing, global consulting etc. for the gartner industry. In doing so the future production of sustainable as well as competitive Danish gartner products will be secured. itGrows' vision is to contribute to securing a significant increase in the export of Danish teknological solutions in the gartner industry.
