Funders and Open Access

Open Access to research publications is increasingly becoming a requirement when accepting research grants from external funders, such as the European research programs and Danish public research councils and foundations.

CBS researchers are committed to informing themselves of their funders’ Open Access requirements, and follow these.

CBS Library is committed to providing assistance to questions that may arise regarding external funding and Open Access; e.g. where to find the requirements, what they mean, and how to follow them.

Examples of funders with an Open Access policy, that CBS researchers receive funding from:

  • EU’s Research and Innovation Program (Horizon2020 and Horizon Europe)
  • Denmark’s public sector research funds and Foundations
