The World Bank estimates that a severe bird flu pandemic could cost the global economy up to 2 trillion dollars!!

This comment comes as the World Health Organization warns that the threat from the H5N1 avian flu virus is just as real today as it was 8 months ago, even if the headlines are not as scary.

Robin Turner, General Manager at Roche in Denmark will share his vast international experience from the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on pandemics with particular focus on the avian flu.

Robin holds Australian as well as British passports and has worked in Denmark, Switzerland, Australia, Indonesia and UK in different positions as Product Manager, Head of Division, various Headquarter functions and Country Manager.

He holds a B.Sc. from University College of London and several degree courses from INSEAD, IMD and the London Business School.

Robin Turner is a great developer and trainer of younger managers. During his tenure in Australia he was frequently used for international training assignments.
