CBS starts online teaching

From 2014, CBS will be among the global providers of free online teaching at graduate level. The courses will be offered via the website coursera.org, which has over 100 university partners, including CBS.

CBS appoints top researcher as new professor in entrepreneurship

Mirjam van Praag from the University of Amsterdam has been appointed Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Professor of Entrepreneurship at Copenhagen Business School. The donation from the ‘A. P. Møller og Hustru Chastine Mc-Kinney Møllers Fond til almene Formaal’ at 40 million Danish kroner provides CBS with the opportunity to strengthen its research and education activities within entrepreneurship.

More applicants for undergraduate programmes

The number of applicants for undergraduate programmes at CBS rose by 10% in 2013. Two new programmes in project management and European business have gone like hot cakes and have together attracted one applicant in five.

CBS extends the campus using the former ‘Hamlet-building’

The 20,000 business students in Frederiksberg will have more space to study when the building that used to house the private hospital, Hamlet, will in 2014 become part of the campus.

CBS offers new bachelor programme in shipping economics
