South Korea and Denmark are in the top of the UN rankings of eGovernment. But, the pathway to the top of the rankings do differ. The two nations have tackled the challenge of digitalizing society in fundamentally different ways.
The Transformation Platform hosts an afternoon (October 23rd)  in the company of top researchers from South Korea who share their insights on SMART work and digitalization in a nation where the tech industry is taking the lead in developing hardware, which can drive the development of a digital public sector. Professor Jungwoo Lee and Professor Jae Moon from Yonsai University in Seoul will share their insights in presentations on ”Korean Work Science - Asian Dynamics and Nordic Noir” and "Public administration in SMART transition?" .
Professor Anders Henten from Aalborg University, Copenhagen Campus will present his research on central differences in broadband diffusion in the two contexts with particular emphasis on the diffusion of mobile broadband which is a central infrastructure in the roll out of an advanced digital public sector. The presentations from the three researchers lead to a discussion of research and business opportunities in South Korea.
The event gives an unique opportunity to meet researchers from South Korea and Denmark and to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
