FT EMBA ranking 2018

The Financial Times has ranked the CBS Executive MBA (EMBA) the best single-university programme in the Nordic region. The ranking is considered the most influential within business education globally.

“We are thrilled to be recognised as the best single-university programme in the Nordic region by the Financial Times,” says Poul Hedegaard, CBS MBA Director.
“In order to equip the senior executives in our classroom with the top leadership skills needed to navigate today’s rapidly changing business climate, we make sure to stay on our toes and constantly refine the EMBA experience.”

Candidates’ salary increased by 57 percent

The ranking revealed further that graduates demonstrate particular progress when it comes to salary increase, an area that carries significant weight in the rankings. The surveyed class boosted their salaries by 57% in the three years since graduating.

Top marks when it comes to participants’ work experience

The CBS EMBA scores top marks when it comes to participants’ work experience prior to entering the programme. This is measured according to the seniority of positions held, number of years in each position, company size and international work experience.

“It is evident from the very first day of classes that the CBS EMBA classroom is filled with talented senior executives that are fully committed to learning the latest business practices and polishing their leadership skills,” says Jesper Rangvid, Associate Dean for the programme and Professor at CBS.
“It is a real privilege to teach the course and participate in the debate that unfolds.”

Ranks 38 out of 100 schools world wide when it comes to CSR

It is also noteworthy that the programme is able to hold fort internationally when it comes to a focus area for the university itself: CSR. The CBS EMBA ranks 38 in the world in this category, which evaluates the proportion of core courses that incorporate CSR, ethics, social and environmental issues.
