Entry requirements
You are qualified for (but not guaranteed) admission to the programme if you:
A) Fulfil the language requirement by the application deadline
B) Fulfil the specific entry requirements below
C) Have a bachelor degree (or will by study start)
The programme has a limited number of places. If there are more qualified applicants than places available at a programme, there will be a selection process, according to the selection criteria below. In other words, fulfilment of the entry requirements does not guarantee admission.
English language requirement
The programme requires English at Danish level A.
The English requirements are very strict, which means that only the qualifications listed on the English level A page are accepted as alternative fulfilment.
The English language requirement must be fulfilled by the application deadline.
Specific Entry Requirements
This is a concentration under the MSc in Economics and Business Administration (EBA)/cand.merc. programme. MSc EBA/cand.merc. has 14 concentrations, each with a limited number of places. The entry requirements below are the same for all concentrations, but take special note of the selection criteria which are unique to each one. Note that the concentration's language requirement must also be fulfilled.
NB: The new MSc in Economics and Business Administration - General Management and Analytics, to be launched in 2023, has replaced the existing cand.merc./MSc EBA programme and its 14 concentrations as the natural progression programme for the following bachelor degrees: HA Almen from CBS, HA i erhvervsøkonomi og projektledelse from CBS, HA i Europæisk Business from CBS, BSc in International Shipping and Trade from CBS, BSc in International Business from CBS and BSc in Business Administration and Service Management from CBS. Applicants with the afore mentioned bachelor degrees no longer have legal claim to admission at the 14 concentrations under the cand.merc./MSc EBA. They still fulfil the programme's specific entry requirements, but applicants with a HA Almen or a HA i erhvervsøkonomi og projektledelse from CBS must document fulfilment of the English A language requirement.

Advance assessments
The following advance assessments are valid for the 2023 admission round for applicants whose bachelor degree exactly matches the university, degree title and enrolment year listed.
The advance assessments are based on the obligatory courses as listed in the programme regulations. If you have obligatory courses that have been credit transferred from elsewhere, we will not use the advance assessment and will instead assess your courses using the available documentation.

Selection Criteria
This is a concentration under the MSc in Economics & Business Administration (MSc EBA / cand.merc.) There are a limited number of places available at each concentration and while entry requirements for the programme are the same, the selection criteria are unique to each one.
Please note that writing a personal statement is not part of the selection criteria for the MSc EBA.
You are not guaranteed a place at an individual concentration, even if you fulfill all the entry requirements for the programme.
Selection criteria are applied if there are more qualified applicants than places. Qualified applicants who are not accepted at the concentration will be taken into consideration at lower priorities.

The selection process at the MSc EBA concentration International Business is based on an overall assessment of applicants’ educational background at undergraduate level, with a focus on courses and grades within business administration and economics; grades within the academic areas constituting the specific entry requirements are of particular importance.
Courses and grades within finance, quantitative methods (including statistics and econometrics) and qualitative methods may also be taken into consideration.
Your connection to the Danish labour market will be taken into consideration as part of the selection process. In your application, you will be asked to write a paragraph of no more than 1000 characters (including spaces), describing your current circumstances and reflecting on your future career opportunities in Denmark.
