PhD defence: Mette Nelund
Den nye jord: et feltstudie i et bæredygtigt virke på Farendløse mosteri er en empirisk undersøgelse af, hvordan aktører håndterer og organiserer bæredygtighed i en konkret praksis, der er lokalt forbundet til jordens økosystemer og naturprocesser. Feltarbejdet danner baggrund for den teoretiske begrebsliggørelse af et bæredygtigt virke, hvormed afhandlingen for det første bidrager med en begribelse af, hvordan det er muligt at handle ift. klimaforandringerne samt at udføre bæredygtighed i praksis, og for det andet med konkrete empiriske metoder til at undersøge de implikationer, der kan være forbundet med at udføre bæredygtighed i praksis.
