The dynamics in the aviation industry and the rules of competition have changed drastically. Managing the resources efficiently and satisfying the needs of the market have become imperative for success. Lindegaard emphasized the importance of communication and working closely with the people within the organization in enacting and sustaining the transformation process. Lindegaard also expanded on the process of establishing independent airline units within the group in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, bringing the airline closer too the customers, serving the home market better and achieving clearer accountability for results.
