Lecture with David Aaker. Aaker is described by Brandweek magazine as "the dean of the brand equity movement", he is one of the world's most respected thought leaders on the subject of brand. He is an active speaker in the U.S., Europe, South America, and Japan.

Aaker has published more than 90 articles and 11 books, including Managing Brand Equity, Developing Business Strategies, Building Strong Brands and Brand Leadership. His new book, Brand Portfolio Strategy, is out in May 2004.

His articles have appeared in many notable publications, including the Harvard Business Review, the Journal of Marketing, and the California Management Review.

The subject for the speech is “Hybrids, The Heavenly Bed and Purple Ketchup: How to re-energize and build true relevance for your brand”.

In his speech, Aaker will reveal how an organisation can develop an overall strategy aimed at revitalising brands to support business growth.
