Præsentation

Michael Wessel is an Associate Professor at the Department of Digitalization, Copenhagen Business School. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. His research resides at the intersection of information systems, digital entrepreneurship, and digital innovation and is driven by a fascination for paradigm-shifting phenomena caused by the digital transformation that challenge long-standing institutional structures. Methodologically, he prefers to work empirically and blends traditional experimental and quantitative research methods with computational approaches such as machine learning and text mining. Michael's work has been published in international journals such as Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Information Systems Journal, Decision Support Systems, and Electronic Markets.
