Anne Roelsgaard Obling has been rewarded a one year post-doc from the The Danish Cancer Society to investigate the everyday organisation of psychosocial work and ‘soft’ relations in accelerated cancer trajectories. The project aims to open up discussions on changing public/private relations by exploring the creation and development of ‘emotion agencies’, which are organisational entities that are created for the purpose to supplement delivery of effective, standardized transactions in health care organisations. The project will be located at Department of Organization in the Centre for Health Management and the Velux Foundation What Makes Organization? Programme and will be affiliated to the CBS BiS Public-Private Platform as a core project in the Health Governance strand. The project will begin in April 2012 and is funded to the sum of 636,000 kr.
