Danske Bank has just announced the winners of Danske Speciale, the annual master's thesis competition. Ida Winther Jepsen and Stefan Millschou Andersen from the MSc in Finance and Accounting at CBS won the honour and DKK 25,000 for travelling, when the winners were announced by CEO Peter Straarup at Danske Bank's headquarters at Kongens Nytorv.

31 students who collaborated with Danske bank on their thesis participated in the Danske Speciale competition. Before the presentation of the award, keynote speaker Sulaima Gourani encouraged the students and the other members of the audience to assume the control of their own career.

First and second

Ida and Stefan have really appreciated their collaboration with the bank:

”The goodwill of Danske Bank has been overwhelming. We are so happy that our thesis is also practically applicable and contributes new knowledge of an actual challenge that one of the largest companies in the country is facing”

The second place in Danske Speciale went to another student from CBS, MSc in Human Resource Management Luise T. Christensen. Louise received a gift certificate of DKK 10,000. She wrote about the mental working environment in Danske Bank's customer service.
