CBS welcomes Master in International Management students

When about 50 international students from partner universities all over the world arrive at CBS in August, they are saying goodbye to the life as a student and hello to a life similar to that of CEO's of multinational companies.  The students come to Denmark as a part of their CEMS Master's in International Management programme, which is developed in partnership with 26 universities and 60 international companies across the world. The programme features studies at a foreign university and an internship abroad.

International collaboration in the study years

The programme, which several years in a row has been ranked as one of the best MSc in General Management programmes by the Financial Times, is distinct from others by having a close collaboration with the business community. In the course of the programme, the students are faced with real problems that arise when different cultures and time zones need to form a synthesis.

- The CEMS programme makes a point of the fact that the students work strategically with intercultural management in company cases from real life. I have, for instance, worked on group projects over the internet. We were four students in four different continents, cooperating, explains Fredrik Ahlberg, who just finished his CEMS studies, which included a study period in Barcelona.

Fredrik Ahlberg emphasises the CEMS programme's skill seminars and career and recruitment events with CEMS' partner companies as a strength to CEMS students. It provides them with a large network among multinationals already during their studies.
