MBA programme nominated for prestigious award

Even though the CBS Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics is a relatively new programme, it has been nominated to the prestigious award Lloyd’s List Training Award in recognition for the demonstrated commitment to the development and enhancement of the skills of professionals within the shipping industry. The MBA programme is in good company among the leading educational programmes in the field of shipping and logistics.

“It is a great honour to be nominated to such a prominent award as the Lloyd’s List Training Award. Even though we did not win this year, we are still very proud to be among the best in the world”, says Irene Rosberg, Programme Director, CBS Executive.

CBS Executive MBA in Shipping and Logistics is the only one of its kind in the world, and it is established with the aim of giving further training to leaders in the shipping industry with modern management theories in the maritime sector.     

Lloyd’s List Training Award is given to “a person or organisation that is distinguished by contributing positively to continuing education in the maritime sector. The other nominees are:  Smit Salvage for their course in ”Managing Marine Emergencies”, The Maritime Institute “Willem Barentsz” for their course in ”Maritime Officer Training” and The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers for their ”Global Programme of Shipping Education”.
