6th Supply Chain Leaders Forum 2017

CBS has over the past 100 years developed great leaders for all parts of business, government and organizations. In recent decades, specifically Supply Chain Management (SCM) has been given dedicated focus by CBS, and today CBS offers academic and practice oriented SCM education via HD, cand.merc. and MBA.

This year, the Supply Chain Leaders Forum celebrates the fostering of SCM leaders at CBS over the past century by founding a new award: Best Supply Chain Leader 2017. Collaborating with the international SCM communication channel, SCM Media, and the European SCM executive search company, Inspired-Search, the SCLF Board will identify top-25 leaders in SCM in Denmark and select the Best Supply Chain Leader 2017. A personal award worth DKK 15,000.- and a company award worth more than DKK 200,000.- will be granted the carefully chosen SCM executive.

As previous years, we award the Best CBS HD-SCM Thesis and Best CBS HD-SCM Business Project, and will this year join forces with the more technical side of SCM, Technical University of Denmark, in order to nominate and award the Best DTU Operations Management Thesis 2017.

CBS has transformed during the past century from a small local institution developing managers for the industrial era to an international recognized business university developing leaders for the digital era. Hence, the theme of the annual event is:

‘Digital Supply Chain 4.0’

To secure maximum inspiration and networking we offer 16-20 booths where you may visit stands promoting the academic nominations and more commercial stands providing an insight into the newest in digital in the SCM world – software, hardware, equipment, solutions, services, and companies looking for their next supply chain leader.

Honoring the best academic performances, providing inspiration, innovation and networking across and between students, employees and employers are key objectives for the Supply Chain Leaders Forum. This year will offer no less, and expectedly gather more than 300 participants.
