My research is on the international political economy of the “offshore world”. I am interested in the ways in which corporations change their structure and strategy to gain financial advantages in the interplay between global value chains and global wealth chains. My PhD is part of the EU Horizon 2020 COFFERS Project: “Combating Fiscal Fraud and Empowering Regulators”. With a background in economics as well as IPE and business studies, I draw upon both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Other interests and areas I have previously worked on include financial crises and banking regulation, inequality, international trade policy, US politics, gender issues and development economics.
