Presentation and academic fields

I have a masters degree in Anthropology (Cand.Scient.Anth) from The University of Copenhagen where I also taught for several years. Since 2013 I have been affiliated with IOA at CBS as external lecturer and teach at HD(O).
I am especially interested in how teaching can create a curious and 'investigative' environment for learning, including how I as a teacher can prepare and facilitate learning through exercises and discussions closely linked to the subjects curriculum, thus supporting the students' cognition and their work with the learning goals of the programme. My strength as a teacher is primarily the ability to convey material difficult to understand through presentations, conversations and exercises in order to support students in grasping abstract theoretical concepts and make them able to use these in asking questions to and working with their own practices.
I teach within a wide range of topics within the field of organisational and leadership, such as leadership, organisational change and innovation, communication, power, conflict and decision theory, culture and methodology.

Professional and/or academic experience

Since starting working at CBS I have been teaching HA/Qualitative methods, but for several years now I have mainly taught at HD(O) where I have taught at all semesters of the programme. In addition to teaching at HD(O), I have continuously participated in the development, implementation and evaluation of a new course structure for HD(O) module 1 and 2 including the implementation of blended learning.
Besides teaching at CBS I have, the last couple f years, worked with MaCom A/S in realising a research project on the digitalisation and sharing of teaching materials among teachers across upper secondary schools in Denmark using the platform Lectio.
Prior to working at CBS I held different positions at The University of Aarhus, Department of Anthropology and The University of Copenhagen, Department of Anthropology (mainly as research assistent). My main tasks was teaching and I have taught a wides range of subjects within the field of anthropology but with a special interest in and predominance of courses within qualitative- and fieldwork methods.  Beside teaching and supervising students I also participated in course development including the introduction of new pedagogical grips aiming at including and activating students in their own learning.

Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision

As mentioned above I have several years teaching experience from CBS and prior to that from The University of Aarhus and The university of Copenhagen. In order to maintain and enhance my teaching skills, I have continuously attended courses and seminars. Within tha last couple of years I have been especially preoccupied with blended-learning, new digital learning technologies, feedback and continuous assessment, as well e-moderation, and how to activate students online and within the classroom.

At present I am team lead, which means that I am responsible for staffing, lessons plans and for having direct and continuous contact with the students.

I supervise HD(O) thesis within all fields of the programme (Organisational Change and Innovation, Project Management, HR and Strategy).
