Daniel Hjorth

Daniel Hjorth is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Organisation at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy, Copenhagen Business School, Denmark. Between 2013 and 2018 he served as Academic Director for the across CBS Entrepreneurship Business in Society Platform.

His latest books include Oxford University Press Handbook on Process Philosophy and Organization Studies (2014, co-edited), Organizational Entrepreneurship, Politics and the Political (co-edited, Routledge, 2021), the “Handbook of Organisational Entrepreneurship” (Edward Elgar, 2012). Hjorth’s research is focused on the organizational conditions for entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, on social entrepreneurship, on philosophy and management, and on art, design and business. Hjorth is the Editor-in-Chief of Organization Studies (a Financial Times top 50-listed and ABS 4* rated Journal).
