Præsentation

My research interests revolve around understanding how CEOs are selected, evaluated by stakeholders, and how they arrive at their decisions.  Regarding CEO evaluation, I am specifically interested in what drives stakeholders' approval and disapproval of CEOs, and how such an assessment may influence CEO behavior. For example, I am currently engaged in a joint project in which I analyze what are the drivers and consequences of gender differences in the popularity of CEOs among their employees. CEO behavior and measuring CEO preferences is another area in which  I am working. In this context, I got curious how population aging and the increasing share of older managers might influence top level decision making.
