I am a philosopher with a background in political philosophy, the history of philosophy and political theology. I am currently working at the intersection between political philosophy, affect theory and Spinoza-scholarship.

I am broadly interested in understanding how affects are utilized in order to determine political decisions, mobilize political action, and constitute as well as destabilize collective identity. I therefore study both the rational and sociable features of emotions and affect in social, collaborative and political contexts (such as trust and the emotional underpinning of collective identity) as well as their disruptive and troublesome aspects (collective hatred, mistrust, revenge, emotional alienation). The theoretical question of how the concept of affect is theorized and used in contemporary social and political theory is of particular interest to me. I am continuously engaged with affect theory, new materialism, the sociology of emotion and Spinoza-studies. 

I am currently a PhD fellow at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School. I have a master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Copenhagen and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Copenhagen and Tel Aviv University as well as elementary training in Greek and Latin.
