Præsentation

Dr. Seidi Suurmets er post.doc. forsker ved Institut ved Afæstningsøkonomi og et aktivt medlem af Decision Neuroscience Research Cluster. Hun fik sin ph.d. i Consumer Neuroscience fra Copenhagen Business School (CBS), og havde med sin afhandling fokus på, hvordan kontekstuelle effekter af studiemiljøet påvirker forbrugerinformationsbehandling og beslutningstagning.

Ved at inkludere indsigter og perspektiver inden for neurovidenskab og psykologi har Seidis forskning til formål at forbedre forståelsen af, hvordan forbrugerne reagerer på forskellige marketingrelaterede stimuli, lige fra produktpakker og reklamer til digitale medieplatforme. Metodisk kombinerer hun traditionelle tilgange inden for forbrugerforskning med øjesporing, elektrodermal aktivitet (EDA) og elektroencefalografi (EEG).

Seidi har undervist i flere kurser relateret til forbrugerneurovidenskab og marketing og vejleder kandidatopgaver inden for en række forskellige emner, herunder forbrugeradfærd, branding, reklame, digital markedsføring og adfærdsmæssig økonomi.
