Tina Kretschel is a Ph.D. fellow in the field of Big Data and Tourism at the Department of Marketing and the Department of Digitalization. Tina holds an M.Sc. in Marketing and Innovation from the Syddansk Universitet Esbjerg (Denmark) and a B.Sc. in Management and Economics from the Otto-von-Guericke Universität Magdeburg (Germany). Tina’s academic performance during her Master’s studies had been recognized with the “Konsul J. Villemos Legat af 1941” Award. Tina Kretschel has gained extensive experience in website optimization, search engine marketing and online user behavior from various international employers within the tourism industry, such as the travel metasearch engines momondo and KAYAK. Given her background, Tina’s research interests include online user behavior, information search and user’s interaction with search engines, consumer and tourist decision-making, and the representation of the tourism domain online.
