CBS is delighted to invite you to a debate about the state of play of the negotiations about the transatlantic partnership, and what the future may bring. TTIP is about a transformation of the regulatory regimes between the EU and the USA. If the negotiations are concluded successfully, it will bring many changes on both side of the Atlantic: it has the potential of creating new dynamics into both economies, but it will also bring both new challenges. What is at stake for Danish business and consumers? Join us at this debate, and listen to the most influential partners in the negotiations.

Marc Vanheukelen, the Head of Cabinet of Commissioner Karel De Gucht (European Comission), will set the scene and give his evaluation of the prospects for a successful deal, and he will join a panel discussion withThomas Bustrup, Deputy Director General of Confederation of Danish Industry. The debate will be moderated by Hans Martens, former Chief Executive of the European Policy Centre.
