The aim of the INCODE conference is to advance our knowledge of how industrial co-development between the old developed countries of Western Europe/US and the new industrializing countries, especially the BRICs and in particular China is emerging and may be further organized both at micro (within MNCs), meso (global supply chains and innovation networks) and macro-levels.

Focus is on emerging trends at these three levels, how actors co-create new ways of interacting and how the emerging patterns of the new economy can be better governed.

The INCODE is focusing on what happens in BRIC and related countries, and is just a new step in stimulating comparative research among scholars of industrial organization.
