Vishv Priya Kohli presented at IALS conference on the issue of COVID19 and data protection rights

Assistant Professor Vishv Priya Kohli presented at the Information Law and Policy Centre’s 6th Annual Conference on 18 November 2021. This year, the focus of the conference was on ‘– Data in a Pandemic: Rights and Responsibilities. The conference was hosted online by the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) and was supported by Bloomsbury Publishing Plc’s Communications Law Journal.

 

Priya was part of the panel on ‘State Surveillance and The Rule of Law’ and presented her paper entitled, ‘Who is monitoring the monitors? The emphasis of the presentation was on health monitoring systems, and evaluation of ‘Digital COVID 19 Certificates’ Regulation and the issues pertaining to the protection of personal health data.
