The Danish chapter of Transparency International was established in 1995 and the organization is dedicated to the prevention of corruption in Denmark. The organization’s efforts include organizing a variety of events open to the general public as well as participation in public debates.

- We are very pleased that we were offered the opportunity to move into CBS; an institution we have cooperated with on several occasions, e.g. in relation to the Transparency in Corporate Reporting (TRAC) report, which was published last year. The study was successfully conducted in cooperation with a group of students from CBS and the report received positive response from the corporate sector, says Knut Gotfredsen, state-authorized public accountant and chairman of Transparency International Denmark.

The Department of Accounting and Auditing also played an integral part in writing the report.
