Two of the largest maritime hubs in the world, Oslo and Singapore, are now getting their own ambassadors for the internationally renowned Blue MBA at the Copenhagen Business School, CBS.

The Blue MBA, or, to be specific, the MBA in Shipping and Logistics, was established in 2001 and has since then produced 120 graduates from 35 countries. Two of these are Erle Kristin Wagle, manager, environmental performance at BW Fleet Management in Oslo, and Michael Elwert, director of group strategy, human relations and support at Thome Group in Singapore.

They become the two first ambassadors for the programme, but the plan is to appoint more ambassadors in other regions around the world. The ambassadors will strengthen the international profile of the course, as well as the Blue MBA alumni network.
“All of our graduates are considered our ambassadors, but as a new means to better connect the graduates on regional level and encourage them to build a stronger network of alumni we have started assigning Blue MBA Ambassadors to different regions. It is with great pleasure that I can now introduce the first two ambassadors for the Blue MBA,"says Irene Rosberg, programme director of the Blue MBA.
