"I've been very pleased with the direction set by Nikolaj Malchow-Møller for Copenhagen Business School during his tenure as President," says Torben Möger Pedersen, Chairman of the CBS Board of Directors.

"Nikolaj has played a crucial role in the strategic mission to open CBS to the rest of the world and ensure that our Danish and international graduates get the tools to 'do good and do well' in the face of tomorrow's challenges," continues Torben Möger Pedersen.

"Fortunately, I am leaving a robust CBS. The programmes and graduates are in higher demand than ever, and the research stands at a very high level with increasing external funding," states Nikolaj Malchow-Møller.

"CBS has charted a strategic course that will position CBS as an increasingly central player in the future amid significant societal transformations. The Nordic Nine, a set of transformative capabilities acquired by our students, is rapidly gaining recognition as an established brand among our stakeholders. Moreover, there is a growing acknowledgment of the significance of CBS's internationally competitive research in addressing key societal challenges," states Torben Möger Pedersen.

Deputy President Inger Askehave will be instated as Acting President beginning January 1, 2024, and until the future President has been appointed. “I look forward to our cooperation and have every confidence that together we can continue CBS' strategic development”, says Chairman of the CBS Board of Directors Torben Möger Pedersen.
