What are the challenges and opportunities of the circular economy?

There are all sorts of possibilities today for using and recycling resources and products more efficiently and also for developing this into a business. The circular economy will be the focus of our attention at this afternoon seminar, at which PhD student Sönnich Dahl Sönnichsen from CBS and Professor Morten Birkved from the University of Southern Denmark will discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Meet eminent Harvard Professor Mark H. Moore at public leadership conference

Join us at this year's Master of Public Governance conference on public leadership titled "From Strategy to Values". Mini master classes will be held along with a panel debate with competent figures from business and industry. The main speaker this year is Mark H. Moore from Harvard University, who coined the term "public value". The conference will be held at The National Museum and museum director Rane Willerslev will be among the speakers.

New CEO goes back to school

It's the start of a new semester in September, also for the executive director who has agreed to be the new Executive in Residence at CBS, an initiative inviting senior managers from top Danish companies to spend a year at the university. Last year's Executive in Residence was Thomas F. Borgen from Danske Bank. The aim of the initiative is to put our heads together with the business community to develop research and education. Meet the new Executive in Residence on 18 September and hear how their company evolved from a local business to a major global player.
