When celebrities are the face of a company
To have a known face brand a company is becoming a global trend, also among NGOs and cosmetic companies. At the symposium 'When development meets business and celebrity', three international researchers will present the latest knowledge on the popular trend. The CBS Sustainability Platform, which focuses on the sustainability in society, is the organiser of the event.

The fair trade consumer of 2014
An increasing number of large institutions make the choice for the consumer and buys fair trade - the consumer thus no longer makes this choice him- or herself. Buying fair trade products has become common practice and has created a special kind of consumer; the corporate citizen. Fair trade experts from Denmark and abroad will discuss this at the seminar 'The end of Fair Trade as we know it'?

Will new climate report have any influence?
The UN Climate Panel recently published the so-called IPCC report, which made a number of specific suggestions to what it takes to prevent the devastating climate changes. The seminar is entitled ’Is a breakthrough in climate change governance on the Horizon?’. The new partnership COSI - a collaboration between the University of Copenhagen, the Technical University of Denmark and CBS- is behind this seminar.

The motive force of a successful entrepreneur
Which motive forces characterise a successful enthrepreneur? Mirjam van Praag, CBS' new Mærsk McKinney-Møller Professor, will present this issue at her inaugural lecture entitled 'Entrepreneurs do not grow on trees'. What more can we conclude from research.’ Meet the newly appointed professor at this afternoon seminar.
