Meet the winner of the Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research 2014
 
On Tuesday 2 December you have the opportunity to inspire your inner entrepreneur when professor Shaker A. Zahra visits CBS. In addition to being this year's winner of the Global Award for Entrepreneurship Research, Zahra is head of department at Robert E. Buck Chair of Entrepreneurship and professor at Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

How will the rule of law be treated in our cooperation with China? 
This is just one of the themes on the agenda on 3 December when Jonas Bering Liisberg, head of Legal Affairs under the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will recount his impressions from legal consultations in Beijing and the perspectives of the Chinese judicial reforms.

New field of research discussed
 
’Computational Social Science’ is a relatively new field of research combining social science problems with computer-supported calculation methods (’computational techniques’). At the Copenhagen Seminar on Computational Social Science 2014 , a group of Danish and American researchers will present and discuss the different philosophical, theoretical, methodical, analytical and instrumental issues and aspects of combining the two disciplines.

The information economics is older than you think
Most people think the concept "information economics" with its focus on information activities and the information industry was a reaction to the internet. But in fact, economists have been debating something similar since the 1930s. Philip Mirowski, historian and philosopher of economic thought at the University of Notre Dame, will explain how and why neoliberalism helped advance the concept.
