Be ready for the Quota 1 deadline!
1. Quota 1
To apply through quota 1, you need a Danish upper secondary education and to fulfil the entry requirements for the programme(s) you are applying for.
You will be evaluated solely on the GPA of your upper secondary education.
2. Apply early - and no later than 5 July at 12:00 noon
We do not receive any applications or documentation after the deadline. Therefore, you need to approve and sign you application on Optagelse.dk before the deadline.
Make sure to finish your application well before the deadline. We often see that applicants make more mistakes in their applications the closer they get to the deadline.
3. Apply with Nem-ID
You must apply through Optagelse.dk
If you have Nem-ID, you should use this when applying – it makes the application process easier for both you and us. When you apply with Nem-ID:
- you will receive a receipt confirming that you have applied on Optagelse.dk. Keep your email as documentation.
- your diploma will automatically be attached to your application (if you have passed all your exams at the time you apply).
If you apply for admission after you have passed your last exam, your diploma will automatically be attached to your application when you apply with NemID.
If you apply for admission before you have passed your last exam, you must upload your diploma when you receive it; however, no later than 5 July at 12:00 noon.
5. Supplementary courses during the summer
If you have passed or will pass your upper secondary examination this year, you can supplement math as the only course after 5 July.
If you passed your upper secondary last year or earlier you cannot take any supplementary courses during the summer holiday.
If you are going to study mathematics during the summer, you must:
- write it in your application on Optagelse.dk
- upload documentation for your registration to the mathematics course before 5 July at 12:00 noon.
- send documentation as soon has you have passed the course.
Send the documentation no later than 15 September to:
CBS Admissions, Solbjerg Plads 3, 2000 Frederiksberg or per E-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org from you CBS E-mail.

7. Enrolment and COVID-19
Read more about the special conditions for enrolment in 2020 due to COVID-19 under Admission and COVID-19
8. Before you apply to CBS
Before you apply to university, you should really take some time to think about whether you want to start university now. It is particularly important this year as COVID-19 has made a lot of people apply to university for want of other possibilities.
If you have planned to spend a year or two travelling or working, applying to university is not necessarily the best plan B. Before you apply, please take a minute to read about what you have to consider.
Teaching and study start in autumn 2020
Please also note that teaching activities and events in autumn 2020 will be somewhat different this year due to restrictions on large groups and social distancing.
