1) Quota 1

To apply through quota 1, you need a Danish upper secondary education and you must fulfil the entry requirements for the programme(s) you are applying for.

You will be evaluated solely on the GPA of your upper secondary education.

2) Apply early - and no later than 5 July at 12:00 noon

We do not accept any applications or documentation after the deadline. Therefore, you need to approve and sign you application on Optagelse.dk before the deadline.

Make sure to finish your application well before the deadline. We often see that applicants make more mistakes in their applications the closer they get to the deadline.

3) Apply with Nem-ID or MitID

You must apply through Optagelse.dk

If you have Nem-ID or MitID, you should use this when applying – it makes the application process easier for both you and us. When you apply with Nem-ID or Mit-ID:

  • you will receive a receipt confirming that you have applied on Optagelse.dk. Keep your email as documentation.
  • your diploma from a Danish upper secondary school*will automatically be attached to your application (if you have passed all your exams at the time you apply).

*Please note, if you have a foreign upper secondary exam, you have to upload your diploma to optagelse.dk. This also applies if you have passed an International Baccalaureate.

4) Diploma

Your diploma will automatically be attached to your application if you:

  • have a Danish upper secondary exam*
  • have passed you last exam by the time you apply
  • apply with Nem-ID or MitID

*Please note, if you have a foreign upper secondary exam, you have to upload your diploma to optagelse.dk. This also applies if you have passed an International Baccalaureate.

If you apply for admission before you have passed your last exam, you must upload your diploma when you receive it; however, no later than 5 July at 12:00 noon.

If you do not have your diploma before 5 July because you have to retake an exam in August due to illness, read more about what to do on cbs.dk > Documentation > Re-take due to illness

5) English: A or B?

A-level English meets the entry requirements for English for:

B-level English passed with Danish grade level 6.0 meets the entry requirements for English for:

Please note: You cannot take supplementary courses in English during the summer.

6) Admission and Covid-19
