Why did I choose my programme?
I chose my programme because I have a wide range of interests spanning various subjects. This diversity of passions made it challenging for me to narrow down my choices when selecting a bachelor programme. Ultimately, I decided on this interdisciplinary programme because it aligned perfectly with my preferences. BSc DM offers a unique combination of business strategy and digital technologies, which allows me to explore many of my interests within a single bachelor programme. This way, I can delve into both the creative and technical aspects of digital media while still gaining a solid foundation in business concepts. A perfect fit for my diverse interests and aspirations.
What do I like the best?
I absolutely love the dynamic and diverse environment at DM. The lectures are buzzing with students from all over the world, each bringing their unique perspectives and experiences to the table. It's amazing how much you can learn from your peers, and the international exposure adds a whole new layer of richness to the learning experience. The faculty here are top-notch, and I appreciate how they bring real-world industry insights into the classroom. The emphasis on practical application of theories and concepts is really valuable. Plus, the opportunities for networking and doing internships with renowned companies in Copenhagen are fantastic.
What do I think is difficult?
Even though I have an interest in economics and quantitative matters, I do find the academic level and pace of these lectures quite challenging. This has been the most demanding aspect of my bachelor programme so far. However, despite the difficulty, I'm still enthusiastic about the upcoming lectures that delve into these subjects. It's a bit of a steep learning curve for me, but I'm eager to push through and continue exploring these areas that I'm growing more intrigued by.
What would I have liked to have known before starting my programme?
The programming part of Digital Mangement can be comprehensive for a new and unexperienced student, however it is not the main part of the programme. BSc DM gives you a taste of programming, which you can make use of or choose to pursue even further later in your education. Furthermore, I would have liked to know the importance of attending exercise classes as you really get a practical understanding during these classes.
What do I want to do after finishing my programme?
After completing my bachelor's programme, I'm eager to continue my educational journey by pursuing a master's degree. While I haven't finalised my decision on which specific master's programme to choose, I'm excited to explore the various opportunities available. The flexibility of having a bachelor's degree in Digital Mangement is a real advantage in this regard. The skills and knowledge I've gained through my DM programme open up a wide range of possibilities for further education.
