Ph.d. Eva Parum takes a new perspective on corporate and public governance in new book

The increasing effect of globalisation on Danish businesses was the reason for the launching of “Recommendations for good business management in Denmark” in 2001.

In 2005 Copenhagen stock exchange published new “recommendations” containing a “follow or explain” principle. This requires companies to communicate whether they follow the new recommendations from 2006.

PhD- student Eva Parum is the author of a new book called “Strategic communication on management – a corporate and public governance perspective”. The book is based on extensive empirical material about the external information and communications policies of Danish companies from 2001/02 – 2004/05.
