Research closer to businesses

Denmark must be an idea providing society where research, education and innovation is prioritized. That is the request from Dean at CBS Søren Barlebo Rasmussen, who has been chairman of a working group on innovation in the humanities and social science. On behalf on the Ministry of Science, the group has looked into how research from the humanities and social science can be closer connected to the Danish businesses.

New research centers

"The international competition demands that we focus on and choose what to aim at. We must have new ideas to how we for example market, manage and organize. You can have the world's best product, but you also have to be able to sell it to a Chinese", explains Søren Barlebo Rasmussen.

The idea is to establish four new research centers that each has 25 researchers and a row of people from the business community attached.
