Department of Strategy and Innovation

Agnes Guenther is a Ph.D. Fellow at the Department of Strategy and Innovation (SI) and the Department of Economics (ECON) at Copenhagen Business School and a former Visiting Scholar at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
Agnes holds an honors degree and M.Sc. (Engineering) in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). She has received scholarships as well as design and innovation awards from different international organizations, such as the Future Award in Economy, and the blue dot design award from the Design Engineering Faculty of TU Delft.
Before joining CBS in 2017, Agnes worked as an independent consultant and as a Research Assistant and Tutor at the University of Sydney and TU Delft, focusing on design thinking and cognition in strategic decision making under uncertainty.
Her research focuses on the intersection of strategy, cognitive psychology, and strategic human capital. As Ph.D. Fellow at CBS, Agnes investigates strategic human capital mobility and composition in merger and acquisitions (M&A) and new establishments (i.e. start-ups and subsidiaries).
